This week I had a browse through the Poi Room on Ponsonby Rd. The staff there were super chilled out, easy going to speak to – the kind of people I could enjoy having a hazy pale ale and / or a pinot-rose with.
I thought she was a bit of a babe actually. Awesome hair.

Anyhow, I really enjoyed by the art created by Kiwi painter Tony Ogle. These photos do not do his work the full justice that it deserves of course. So go have a look for yourself.
I think that Tony Ogle captures the spirit, vibe, character, beauty, of our landscapes. He captures the vibe of our nature at its very best: varied, fertile, sometimes brooding, with golden hues that contrast with the vivid shades of green and the inviting, cooling, sparkling, blue in the distance.

All resplendent under the mostly bright, regenerating, mostly benevolent, bronzing, sometimes punishing, Kiwi summer sun.
